## 1 Introduction

### 1.1 What is SatsOrder?

SatsOrder is a community governance **voting platform** operating on the **Ordinals Protocol**. Its primary objective is to facilitate community voting governance and foster consensus among members.

As a unique blockchain tool, SatsOrder's core functionality enables all token holders to propose and vote. This approach ensures that every participant has a voice in the decision-making process, fostering active engagement in community governance. This fully open and equitable approach guarantees that all decisions reflect the collective will of the community, rather than the opinions of a minority.

Upon completion of the voting process, SatsOrder immutably records the results on Ordinals, ensuring transparency, verifiability, and tamper resistance. This on-chain storage method not only ensures data security but also allows anyone to query the voting results at any time, enhancing governance transparency.

In short, SatsOrder is an off-chain gasless multi-governance client which results are easy to verify and hard to contest.

We have a strong conviction that SatsOrder not only improves community governance but also propels the growth of the entire Ordinals ecosystem. Our goal with SatsOrder is to realize genuine decentralization, empowering each and every community member to actively engage in governance and collaboratively shape the future of our community.

### 1.2 SatsOrder Version

The mission and vision of SatsOrder are rooted in and build upon the decentralization principles of Ordinals to foster community development and growth.

We firmly believe in the immeasurable power of the community. Every token holder, developer, and even those who care about the Ordinals ecosystem are crucial driving forces behind our community's development. Therefore, our primary task is to gather consensus within the community, enabling every member to participate in our decision-making process.

Through SatsOrder, we aim to establish a bridge between developers and token holders, allowing them to collectively determine the future direction of our community. We believe that only when all members have a voice can our community truly flourish and progress rapidly.

Furthermore, we envision SatsOrder to serve as an effective tool that assists other developers in indexing past community demands. This approach not only enhances transparency and openness in the decision-making process but also enables developers to better understand the needs of the community, resulting in the development of products and services that align with user requirements.

In summary, our vision is to achieve genuine decentralized governance. We aspire for every community member to participate in the decision-making process through SatsOrder, collectively shaping our future. In doing so, we can ensure fairness and equity within the community while providing every member with an opportunity to contribute to our development and share in our achievements.

### **1.3 Introduction to the Ordinals Ecosystem**

Ordinals is a groundbreaking ecosystem built on top of Bitcoin (BTC) that utilizes the sequential ordering of Bitcoin's fundamental unit, "satoshi," to enable unique identification and ownership of data. This innovative numbering scheme provides us with a novel and powerful method to track and transfer individual satoshis.

These unique numbers are referred to as "ordinals." Each satoshi in Bitcoin is assigned a number based on the order in which it was mined and subsequently moved from transaction inputs to outputs, following the principle of first-in, first-out. Both the numbering scheme and the transfer mechanism rely on order: the numbering scheme depends on the order in which bitcoins are mined, while the transfer mechanism depends on the order of transaction inputs and outputs. Therefore, we refer to it as "ordinals" or Ordinals.

Currently, the Ordinals ecosystem primarily encompasses multimedia assets such as images and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). With the emergence of BRC-20, Ordinals now has its own protocol. We firmly believe that in the near future, in addition to the existing NFTs and BRC-20, Ordinals will witness the introduction of even more exciting protocols and applications.

The advent of Ordinals provides us with an opportunity to reevaluate the potential of Bitcoin. It opens our eyes to the fact that Bitcoin, beyond being a tool for storing value, holds tremendous possibilities. We firmly believe that through Ordinals and Sats Order, we can further unlock the value of Bitcoin and drive the flourishing development of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
